Jethro overhears the Colonel talking to an actor dressed as General Grant. He thinks the Yankee's are fixin'to fight with the south again. Jethro tells Granny the news & Granny dresses as a southern belle to spy on Gen.Grant & get information on when the attack will be. Granny learns that Grant is going to attack the Culpepper plantation & hurries off to warn them.
